The mission of the Bridgeport Gun Club is to operate a nonprofit, properly managed shooting club organization that is efficiently designed, constructed and safely operated with efficiently maintained shooting range(s), ancillary structures and other facilities that all authorized members, their families and other (guests) using those club facilities and grounds are able to do so with pride, confidence and satisfaction, to ensure that future members will inherit an efficiently managed, top quality shooting facility and a legacy of marksmanship, sportsmanship and friendships. Membership in the Bridgeport Gun Club is open to any individual or organization interested in the purpose for which the Club was incorporated, upon approval of the Board of Directors, and no person shall be discriminated against because of race, color, creed, sex age, disability, or national origin or otherwise subjected to unlawful discrimination.

Single Membership: Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application and must be legally licensed if or when driving a motorized vehicle on Club property. Full voting status (1).

Couples Membership: Sponsor/applicant must be at least 18 years of age at time of application and must be legally licensed if or when driving a motorized vehicle on club property. Full voting status (1).

Family Membership: Two adults and children. Full voting status (1).

Youth membership may be granted to youths 13 years of age or under. Youth applicants must submit a Bridgeport Gun Club Parental/Adult Guardian Consent Form, properly completed, signed by the parent or guardian and Notarized by a Certified Notary Public. Each youth member will be allowed to use a firearm or bow and arrow only during the OPEN GATE SHOOTING PERIODS and must be accompanied by and under the constant watch and supervision of a firearm or archery safety qualified adult (21 years of age or older). Violation of Weapon Safety Rules, Range protocol rules or the Adult Supervision Rule may be grounds for Board of Directors termination of membership action. Non-Voting Status (0).
